Hi everyone,

    If you’ve stumbled across this site and are wondering what its all about then let me explain.

I like to think that I’m a writer but its an uphill battle to get published. Sure, I’ve had stuff published here and there; a few short stories, some poetry and I have a novel currently sitting extremely idle with an agent but my dream of having a novel sitting on the shelves of a big bookstore alongside one of Stephen King’s novels is slowly, actually no swiftly running out of reach. Its suddenly dawned on me that to be a successful published writer, one has to have really cool contacts,( and I’m not talking lenses here) and either have a CV that includes a stint as a journalist or a Masters in Fine English. Or you could choose the really easy option and become a celebrity. Chuck in a ghostwriter and you’re laughing. Usually all the way to the bank. You’ll never be taken seriously as an author but who cares about a little thing like that.

Anyway, I digress a little here. I set up this blog for one reason and that was to get my work out there for people to read. Instead of just sitting uselessly on my computer, it can now sit, er, uselessly on this site but hey, at least it’ll be read, maybe and maybe someone, somewhere, will enjoy it.  Maybe.
